Molly Girl: A Paris Love Story Wrapped In Rock & Roll

An American drifter, a Paris streetwalker, and one unforgettable night beneath the neon lights of the City of Love.

Paris has inspired countless songs, movies, and love stories, but every now and then a city gives you a story that feels entirely your own. That’s the spark behind “Molly Girl,” a new track from my upcoming Americana rock album, Back On The Run.

The song begins on the Champs-Élysées, where an American drifter is wandering through the City of Light looking for adventure. Then he spots her—a woman in a red dress who immediately stands out from the crowd. Her name is Molly, and she carries herself with the confidence of someone who knows exactly who she is. What starts as a simple encounter quickly becomes something neither of them expected.

As the night unfolds, they leave the bright lights behind and cruise through Paris together. Rain begins to fall. The top is down. The radio is playing. For a few fleeting hours, two people from completely different worlds share a connection that feels larger than life. It’s the kind of moment that can only happen in a city like Paris, where romance and reality seem to exist side by side.

But “Molly Girl” isn’t a fairy tale. One of the song’s most important moments arrives during a French-language verse, when Molly reminds her American companion that life isn’t always as romantic as it appears. She isn’t waiting for rescue, and she isn’t looking for promises. She is simply living her life on the streets of Paris. That shift gives the song a depth that goes beyond a typical love story and turns it into something more human, more honest, and ultimately more memorable.

Musically, “Molly Girl” is rooted in the big, melodic rock sound of the 1980s. Soaring guitars, catchy hooks, and a sing-along chorus drive the song forward, while touches of French culture and Parisian atmosphere give it a unique flavor. It’s equal parts road movie, love story, and rock-and-roll fantasy.

At its heart, “Molly Girl” is about those rare encounters that stay with us long after they’re over. The people we meet while traveling. The conversations last until sunrise. The nights we know can never be repeated. Sometimes they become memories. Sometimes they become songs.

And sometimes, if you’re lucky, you’ll always have Paris.

Listen to “Molly Girl” below and take the ride.

You’ll find MOLLY GIRL on my BACK ON THE RUN album available on Spotify, Apple Music, and all digital distribution starting June 25, 2026.

A neon-lit love story straight from the streets of Paris. “Molly Girl” is an unapologetic 1980s-style rock anthem inspired by chance encounters, fast cars, rainy nights, and impossible romances. Walking down the Champs-Élysées, an American drifter meets Molly—a Paris streetwalker in a red dress who knows exactly who she is and where she belongs. What begins as a flirtation turns into a night they’ll never forget.

Driven by soaring guitars, big hooks, and a chorus made for singing with the windows down, “Molly Girl” captures the magic of two people from different worlds finding a connection under the glow of Parisian neon.

Part love story.  Part road movie. Part rock-and-roll fantasy.  We’ll always have Paris.

LYRICS

I was walkin’ on the Champs-Élysées
Just a-lookin’ for a girl to say
Monsieur are you lookin’ for a good time

Then I saw her in a racy red dress
She was struttin’ like nobody’s biz
Saw me comin'(Doll Dizzy)
I’m so fizzy baby just tell me

Good Golly Miss Molly Girl (Molly Girl)
Let me spin you around world (Round The World)
Turn off the red light tonight (Molly Girl)
Cause with me you’re gonna be alright

Now we drivin down to Le Marais
Top down an and it’s startin’ to rain
Hold my hand cause we’re goin’ for a ride

Turn on the music on that radio dial
Let’s start singin’ like it’s outta style
Molly smile (Doll Dizzy)
I’m so fizzy baby just tell me

Good Golly Miss Molly Girl (Molly Girl)
Let me spin you around world (Round The World)
Turn off the red light tonight (Molly Girl)
Cause with me you’re gonna be alright

Monsieur Américain il n’y a pas de romance ici
Je suis une fille qui travaille
Toujours dans les rues de Paris
Fuis avant que je te brise le cœur

Good Golly Miss Molly Girl (Molly Girl)
Let me spin you around world (Round The World)
Turn off the red light tonight (Molly Girl)
Cause with me you’re gonna be alright

We’ll always have Paris
(Molly Girl)
Kiss Me Kiss Me It’s Our Last Time
(Molly Girl)
Here’s looking at you kid
(Molly Girl)
Play It Again Molly Girl
Forever My Molly Girl
