Today in Riyadh Saudi Arabia, billions of dollars are being invested to create a new Saudi Arabia where women drive cars and the standard of living is world-class. Taxes are just 5%. Contrast this amazing growth and success with Lebanon’s complete and utter collapse and you can see how the Arab world has a major problem that must be addressed if they want true stability and success.

Lebanon is in its fourth year of a severe economic and social crisis while at the same time hosting the largest number of refugees per capita in the world.
High global food prices and a weak currency have worsened the situation.

Al-Jazeera just filed a report on this terrible situation

In Syria and Palestine, the same….broken counties trying to come back from wars that drove millions into poverty.

But why is this happening? The people in the general area are of the same culture with varying shades. Should they be as one? Why aren’t they?

It would seem to me that the solution is a Middle East Union; much like that of the European Union.

How Is Lebanon in 2023?

Still, high uncertainty, banking sector restrictions, and expensive and very limited electricity supply continue to hinder economic activity. Following the dramatic exchange rate depreciation in Q1 2023, cash dollarization increased, and inflation accelerated to 270 percent y-o-y as of April 2023.

For 500 years, European countries beat up each other fighting over everything under the sun. It was horrible. Then in 1999, they finally gave up on their narrow-minded sovereignty (except for the Brexit idiots) and now the EU is a global force with a 500 million market wielding incredible leverage.

But the Middle East? Lebanon? A country of 5 million? They are getting raped by bankster thieves in Armani suits and they the people have NO power against them. If there were a centralized union, the probability of this happening would be almost zero. Yes, there are problems with “union” but the benefits far outweigh the silliness of sovereignty.

And even better, a true Middle East Union would allow for ONE CURRENCY (MEU DOLLAR) and the fair movement of goods, services, people, and resources. That would benefit 350,000,000 middle easterners.

As it stands, the richest of these countries are the only ones getting the benefits of the resources. This is why Saudis are living extremely high standards of living and the rest are suffering. That’s gotta stop. If not, the failed states will continue to be powder kegs for uprisings and terror because people are getting desperate.

And let’s add Israel to the Middle Eastern too! Imagine that? Free travel for all Jews, Christians, and Moslems to live and travel wherever they want without restrictions. WOW! That would be a modern Ottoman Empire except this new union will need to be secular and protect everyone’s right to worship and have faith as long as they don’t commit violence against others.

Anyways, in 2023, no one is talking about a Middle East Union except me! Why? Because the rich don’t want the status quo to change and the poor are too busy falling apart. But the fact remains, a Middle East Union would be a huge success for over 350,000,000 people and the fact that no one is talking about does NOT make it wrong… it just means that I am the first to bring it up and you should be second and so on…. until everyone gets the message!
