Are you sick and tired of this game, yet? I mean, Idiocracy isn’t a comedy in the USA anymore — it’s a national operating system.
From coast to coast, US people are stuck in a political cage match, endlessly battling each other in a red vs. blue circus while the elite class—those who control wealth, media, and policy—sip vintage champagne, laugh from their penthouses, and manipulate the game from behind the scenes.
Welcome to modern-day feudalism.
Welcome to the United States of Distraction.
Divide and Conquer: The Oldest Trick in the Book
The formula is ancient, but highly effective: Divide the people, and they will never rise.
In today’s USA, the illusion of democracy still dances on our screens, but the reality is something much darker. The elite don’t want unity. Unity would mean strength. Unity would mean accountability. Instead, they fuel division — race vs. race, left vs. right, urban vs. rural, vaccinated vs. unvaccinated — anything to keep the spotlight off them.
And we fall for it. Over and over. The propaganda machines are well oil and the marks are you and I.
Think about it: While the average US person is losing sleep over culture war nonsense and social media flame wars, billionaires are flying to space, corporations are writing US laws, and the wealth gap is exploding like a nuclear bomb in slow motion.
Left Wing, Right Wing — Same Bird
It’s all theater. Republicans and Democrats fight like pro wrestlers — all bluster in public, but behind closed doors, they serve the same corporate donors, the same war profiteers, and the same parasitic interests.
While the right screams about “freedom” and the left yells about “equity,” the money quietly flows upward. Wall Street wins. Big Pharma wins. Military contractors win. Oil companies win. The people? They keep fighting each other over scraps. And now, it’s accelerating and people are entering the economic slaughterhouse; way too many of them willingly.
We’re not enemies.
We’re just distracted serfs, too busy arguing over who gets the last moldy loaf of bread while the elites dine in marble halls.
The Lords Have Poked Holes in Our Lifeboat
We are all in the same lifeboat now. Working class, middle class — doesn’t matter. The water is rising. The lords are poking holes in the boat, and they’re handing us buckets, telling us to bail faster, to blame each other for the leaks.
But the truth is this: We are being played.
Our healthcare is broken.
Our infrastructure is decaying.
Our wages are stagnant.
Our debt is crushing.
And still, we fight each other instead of demanding justice from those who caused it all.
We’re too busy scrolling, shouting, and memeing while the ship goes down.
Serfs in Every Way — The Anthem of Our Time
To drive this message home, I wrote a song called “Serfs In Every Way” — a musical punch to the gut that says what so many feel but can’t always express.
No time to dream just debt and decay
They sell us the lie that we’re free every day
But behind the curtains behind the trade
The empire’s rusted and freedom’s a blade
The song is a wake-up call.
An anthem for the aware.
A truth bomb for the disillusioned.
It’s not left. It’s not right. It’s real.
Because until we recognize our shared reality, we’ll keep sinking while they sail away on their golden yachts.
Final Word
It’s time to stop playing their game.
Time to stop fighting each other and start fighting back.
Time to reclaim the power we’ve given away.
Because if we don’t unite soon, the title of serf won’t be metaphor anymore — it’ll be our job description.
