Some songs begin with a melody. This one began with disgust. Not at one politician. Not at one political party. Not even at one country. At a pattern.
The longer I watch world events unfold, the more I notice that history rarely changes its cast of characters. Every generation produces people who crave power above everything else. Some become dictators. Some become presidents. Some become party leaders, billionaires, military rulers, or media empires.

But they all have one thing in common.
They never rise alone.
Standing beside every powerful figure is an entire ecosystem of enablers—politicians desperate to stay in office, lobbyists chasing influence, media personalities protecting their access, corporations protecting profits, and career insiders willing to defend almost anything if it keeps them close to power.
That’s where Monsters and Ass Kissers was born.
I wanted to write something darker than a traditional protest song. Instead of a folk anthem with an acoustic guitar, I imagined a soundtrack for a dystopian political thriller. Heavy trip-hop beats. Industrial textures. Distorted guitars. Electronic tension. Music that feels like you’re walking through the smoke after the speeches are over and the cameras have gone home.
The title is intentionally provocative because corruption should make people uncomfortable. Politics isn’t entertainment. Decisions made in marble buildings affect real families, real communities, and real lives. When loyalty to power becomes more important than loyalty to truth, ordinary people are usually the ones left carrying the cost.
This song isn’t asking listeners to join a political team.
It’s asking them to question every team.
Power deserves scrutiny, no matter who holds it.
Throughout history, we’ve watched governments grow stronger while citizens are told to become quieter. We’ve watched politicians promise transparency while operating behind closed doors. We’ve watched people cheer for leaders as though they were celebrities instead of public servants.
Somewhere along the way, too many forgot that elected officials are supposed to answer to the people—not the other way around.
That idea sits at the heart of this song.
Musically, I wanted Monsters and Ass Kissers to feel relentless. The hypnotic pulse of trip-hop collides with alternative rock, electronic sound design, and techno-rock energy to create an atmosphere that is equal parts tension, anger, and reflection. It’s music for late-night drives, city skylines, and moments when you can’t stop thinking about the direction the world seems to be heading.
Whether you agree with every lyric isn’t really the point.
The point is to ask questions.
To challenge narratives.
To resist blind loyalty.
To remember that democracy depends on citizens willing to think for themselves.
If this song sparks a conversation, makes someone reconsider their assumptions, or simply reminds one listener that independent voices still matter, then it has already accomplished its mission.
Turn it up.
Question everything.
Never worship power.
Listen to Washington Monsters and DC Ass Kissers
Monsters and Ass Kissers is a dark cinematic fusion of trip-hop alternative rock electronic rock and techno-rock that tears into the corrupt relationship between ruthless dictators and the politicians influencers and power brokers who enable them.
Driven by haunting beats distorted synths gritty guitars and a hypnotic groove the song explores a world where propaganda replaces truth greed replaces conscience and ordinary people are crushed beneath the ambitions of the powerful.
Its unforgettable chorus becomes an anthem against blind loyalty and political cowardice while the emotional bridge delivers a deeply human plea for compassion courage and moral resistance. Monsters and Ass Kissers is a protest song for the digital age—a soundtrack for those who refuse to bow refuse to worship power and refuse to stay silent in the face of tyranny.
LYRICS
Kiss the ring
Kiss the throne
Sell your soul
Leave us alone
Another headline another lie
Another child beneath a broken sky
Gold cufflinks Black motorcade
Selling tomorrow for the price they paid
They smile for cameras, shake bloody hands
Drawing new borders across borrowed lands
Power is cheap when somebody else dies
Truth disappears beneath televised lies
Everybody knows
Nobody speaks
The palace grows higher
The people grow weak
(Monsters and ass kissers)
Dancing while the whole world withers
(Monsters and ass kissers)
Bowing down to all the killers
Kiss the ring
Kiss the throne
Sell your soul
Leave us alone
(Monsters and ass kissers)
History never forgives the listeners
Parliament dressed in expensive clothes
Perfume covering the smell of smoke
Every promise signed in disappearing ink
Every conscience sold before they think
Bent on one knee for another promotion
Trading our future for private devotion
Every applause is another chain
Every silence multiplies the pain
Everybody sees
Nobody moves
How many bodies
Does power approve?
(Monsters and ass kissers)
Dancing while the whole world withers
(Monsters and ass kissers)
Bowing down to all the killers
Kiss the ring
Kiss the throne
Sell your soul
Leave us alone
(Monsters and ass kissers)
History never forgives the listeners
I’m not asking for perfection
I’m begging for one human heart
One leader who remembers a mother
One judge who can’t be bought
One soldier who lowers the weapon
One voice that refuses the script
Please
Stop teaching our children
that cruelty is strength
Stop rewarding the people
who kneel before evil
Stop pretending
this is just the way the world works
Because every empire built on fear
eventually buries itself
But it buries millions with it
(Monsters and ass kissers)
Building kingdoms made of whispers
(Monsters and ass kissers)
Every empire has its fixers
No more rings
No more thrones
No more kings
Standing on broken bones
(Monsters and ass kissers)
We won’t become your true believers
(Monsters and ass kissers)
We remember
We resist
We refuse
