Bad News Folks…Recently I lost another American “friend” because I won’t give the USA/ISRAEL Axis Powers a blank check by cheering for their murder of over 30,000 Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank since the latest rounds of their colonization of Palestine erupted; including over 100,000 injured and now over 1.8 million humans displaced with over 50% of their homes DESTROYED!
No doubt, it’s a personal loss and that sucks! But for me, there is NO path to back down! Hell No! Why should I? I am NOT running from the issues at all. I am actively protesting publically and offering solutions like my 3-State Solution.
3 State Solution? What’s that you say? Well, more on that shortly but first…
On a humanitarian scale, this hit-and-run technique of the offended is beyond grotesque because it completely dismisses the horrific unspeakable murders going on in Gaza! So to even suggest I am wrong-headed here either speaks to willful indoctrinated ignorance or a highly educated and informed decision to stand with Western Colonialism without apology no matter the human cost; which is a legit policy and has a long-standing 500-year-plus success as the foundations of so many nations. But it is still relevant and a path to win the future?
THE FAILURE
Over a century of the West directly playing RISK in the Middle East and it is still an abject failure! Nothing is successful there unless one is working in the highest offices of the Oil Elite or a Military Industrial Bankster who is profiting off the misery.
In the Arab world, over 300 million people are living in the twilight zone of inequality, poverty, and lack of opportunity; mostly under censorship and complete government control. Freedom is NOT a feature in their world. It’s not even a hope. It’s just living under dictatorships and Oil Corporations and trying to survive it all. It’s a bizarre terrible situation that must fixed and it’s not.
As for the Euro Colony of Israel, well that weird place only exists because of its over $ 280 billion in US taxpayer funding. It’s one of the strangest places on planet Earth. It has 7 million citizens with 20% of them treated as 2nd class citizens. In their occupied territories, they have complete control of the 6 million people who live in limbo under the poverty line beaten and broken under the weight of a society that believes in the nonsense of manifest destiny given to them by god. It’s a ridiculous fake existence and bad policy to boot.
What’s left of the indigenous Palestinian people is completely dependent on Israel; a country that openly wants to rid itself of them and take all their lands but is constrained by the constant internet eyes of people around the world focused on every move they attempt to make rightfully pushing back against their colonial quest.
What is grotesque is that Palestinians, in 2024, are locked in by Israel’s military border walls. They have NO say in anything about their lives. It’s a massive failure by any standard.
It’s so grotesque that even prominent and globally well-respected Jewish American U.S. Senator Bernie Sanders is openly calling for all US funding to Israel to stop immediately.
Millions of Jewish people around the world want no part of this genocide and ethnic cleansing. Bernie wants this resolved too and so do I. We are all brothers on this issue.
CHANGING TIDE IN THE USA?
And somewhat surprisingly, this past week, the US House voted down a 17 Billion dollar special funding bill for Israel. Whoa! WTF? This is new! Is something changing in the USA? Keep an eye on this one…
Look, the loss of a “friend” over Euro ethnic cleansing and colonialism of Palestine is unfortunate. It hurts. But that’s the price social activists must pay to stand up for a better world for all the children including but not limited to Israelis and Palestinians. It’s a social hazard indeed but one I can live with and I will shake it off. But we cannot shake off this very bad policy that is NOT winning the future.
The USA is a very important country in our world. In my view, we need to root for it and cheer its successes. However, when it’s making massive mistakes over 75 years of investing in the Middle East, we must call it out and do all we can to get the levers of power to change course.
At the heart of the matter is the US’s horrible policy to use force to win the future. It’s not working!
China is using economic colonialism and they are winning in almost every country on this planet. The USA is forcing itself on people and while, in the short run, it can work, in the long run, it only alienates and that’s bad for the long haul.
PUNISH IN EGYPT SEES THE GOOD, BAD AND THE UGLY
This past week I was in Egypt. I was hanging out trying to find a way into Gaza to report firsthand on the issues. I was not successful. But what I did find in Egypt was weird and not so good.
For example, in New Cairo, it’s amazing yet bizarre. What’s going on there? Well, let me tell you…
In Egypt, the U.K. had a massive influence over them and it brought in English culture. But now, it’s the USA that is dominating the culture. In Egypt’s NEW CAIRO, they have more American Fast Food joints than in the USA itself; Arby’s, Sizzler, Burger King, KFC, McDonalds, Dunkin Donuts, Panda Express, Pizza Hut et al. New Cairo looks like a typical new American suburb with malls and tract housing everywhere. If it weren’t for the 5 times per day call to Muslim prayer heard everywhere on loudspeakers, one would think they were in some L.A. Suburb. It’s weird!
Yet, something is very wrong here and Egyptians seem to know it and feel it.
First, it seems 90% of Egyptians cannot afford the housing there. They are locked out. Their money has been devalued into oblivion. And curiously, the dictator government bans them from access to global exchanges. While in Egypt, click on Coinbase.com or Bitstamp.net and you’ll get a blank screen. Zero! Nothing! Try a VPN and that does NOT work either!
Supposedly, in Egypt, people can purchase Bitcoin (BTC) with every local bank card. Afreximbank is the most well-known bank in Egypt. The second one is Ahli United Bank, and the third one is Al Baraka Bank Egypt. But the banks are widely controlled and buying is completely discouraged by the Government and Central Bank.
In short, it is estimated that just 3% of the population owns crypto and it’s not clear if it’s the bank holding it for them or, if they in fact, can be the owners of the bitcoin and take it with them on their USB wallets.
So for me, that says, Egyptians are locked out. So instead, they just buy US Dollars and do all they can to NOT hold their currency.
EGYPTIANS LOSE 50% OF THEIR MONEY IN JUST TWO YEARS!
I mean, if you only had a currency that devalued as much as the Egyptian Pound has, wouldn’t you buy Bitcoin or at least the slower-devaluing US Dollar? If you did, you be in a much stronger position and off the begging streets of the super poor.
Here’s an example…
FACTS:
- February 10, 2022: 1 BTC = 44083 USD / 1 USD = 15.71 EGP
- February 10, 2023: 1 BTC = 47,456 USD / 1 USD = 30.45 EGP
-
- If an Egyptian bought 1 Bitcoin two years ago on February 10, 2022, he would have paid 692,103 EGP which is equal to $ 43,923 USD; 1 Bitcoin
- If he kept that Bitcoin and held it for two years, it would be worth 1,456,715 EGP or 47,450 USD which is the price of Bitcoin today.
- If he never bought Bitcoin and held on to his 692103 Egyptian Pounds, his value would be just $ 22,915 USD which is about a 50% loss in real purchasing power over BitCoin.
That’s the incredible situation Egyptians find themselves in. They are locked out of global money markets. Instead, they are at the mercy of the bureaucrats who keep them poor! It’s grotesque.
DISNEYLAND WITH NO PEOPLE
This explains why so much of the new housing seems empty. It feels like developers are building everywhere for people who cannot live there. I don’t have the inside scoop but it seems like lots of money laundering going on or government profiteers stealing funds. But something is very wrong! Cairo has over 40 million residents, and one drive through the old city, one can see that poverty is everywhere in that chaotic city. It’s truly a unique mess there.
“I WANT TO FIGHT BUT THEY WON’T LET ME”
Now, it speaking with local Egyptians, they are helpless. On one hand, they know what the US/Israel Axis Powers are doing the the Palestinians. They hate it with every bone in their body. And they want to fight them.
But they also seem neutered but their circumstance; too much poverty, limited access to resources, and living conditions force most of them into a survival disposition with no time to reach out past where their next meal is coming from. And they know their dictatorship government is not on their side. But they are helpless; at the mercy of whatever powers through them a biscuit.
I felt bad for most of them. People are people. Most just want to be decent and live a good happy life. So it’s not a personal knock on the people. It’s just a knock on the policies of the world leadership that is giving us this failed Middle East.
SOLUTIONS
- STOP KILLING PEOPLE IN GAZA! Just stop!
- INVEST IN GAZA, WEST BANK, and ISRAEL EQUALLY to create 3 strong states; not one dominant one
- IMPLEMENT MIDDLE EAST UNION 2100
The US must change direction completely and start investing like the Chinese do. Create a new vision for the Middle East that is inclusive and turns the over 300,000,000 strong into valid consumers; not impoverished slaves of a diabolical murderous system.
THE 3-STATE SOLUTION
As for Gaza and the West Bank, put that $ 280 billion into building 3 states. Not one! Israel, Gaza, and Palestine! Build brand new factories and businesses in Gaza. New Homes for Everyone! Same in West Bank. And replace those walls with bridges to Israel and start incentivizing trade between the 3 states.
And no more closed borders too!
THE MIDDLE EAST BIDEN PLAN; A Marshall Plan for the Ages
Biden needs to stop playing footsie and just announce in 10 years, a new Middle East Union will be created; one citizenship, one passport, one money, no borders. Period!
No more failures! Israel, Gaza, and the West Bank will be 3 of the states along with Saudi Arabia, UAE region states, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Iran, Egypt, Libya, Algeria and Morocco; over 500 million people will balance with the EU, Asia and the USA
I know it sounds bizarre but people will buy in.
You see, the majority of people just want access to resources. It does NOT matter what state they live in. It’s a human thing. And as we progress into our newly connected globalized future, this is the only path forward. The rest is a waste of time and money and only delays the future. And that’s bad policy!
