Stop Praising Depravity
Every civilization reveals its values by who it celebrates.
Heroes are more than public figures. They are mirrors that reflect what a society admires, rewards, and ultimately becomes. When a nation consistently glorifies people who champion endless war, excuse immense human suffering, or place power above human life, it shouldn’t be surprised when those same values become embedded in its culture.
The recent death of USraeli Senator Lindsey Graham sparked an outpouring of praise from political allies, commentators, and supporters. Family and friends have every right to mourn someone they loved. But public grief is different from public accountability. The death of a public official should not erase an honest examination of that person’s public record.

Throughout his career, Graham was one of Washington’s most outspoken advocates of military intervention and a leading strong supporter of U.S. backing for Israel and its funding of genocide. To some propagandized Americans, those positions represented strength and national security. To the majority, including me, they represented a foreign policy that normalized perpetual war, ethnic cleansing, and genocide while putting the interests of Israel over those of the American people.
So this isn’t really about Lindsey Graham…It’s about us….
